We chose this resort for our once every 3 year family Reunion—26 people-we rented 4 cabins and couldn’t have been happier. Angie is great at communicating -answers any questions and helps in every way imaginable. The cottages are stocked with really anything you could need. The kayaks, paddle boards, and shed of fun activities are all included in the cost. ... We did rent the pontoon-it was a reasonable price and came in handy as one of the cabins we rented was sunset point. We are so thankful for the memories we made there and would go back again!

My sister booked U.P. Sunrise Cottages for our family reunion (27 people total!) Our family had the BEST time! We could hardly get the kids (ages 1-18) out of the water. There were so many things for them to do: the aquapark (which they LOVED), the racecar paddleboat with a slide on it, single and double kayaks, paddleboards, and my 4 year old loved the sandy beach to build sandcastles. ... Our family also took advantage of the basketball hoop, tetherball, playground, and carpetball. I was impressed at all the amenities available right there on the property, and I am fairly certain we used them all. We closed out each night with a campfire and s'mores on the beach. … HIGHLY recommend U.P. Sunrise Cottages! If I lived closer, I would seriously consider this an annual vacation spot! (I live in Nevada!)

Just returned from 4 nights at UP Sunrise cottages and had a wonderful experience! Our extended family rented 3 cottages so we could all attend a family reunion over 4th of July with cousins who live on a nearby lake. We all stayed comfortably - the beds are great and the kitchens nicely equipped … we rented the pontoon and took everyone out on the lake and had a bonfire. My adult children and I had a blast playing in the lake on the floatables and using the paddle boards. This place has everything you need for family fun! The owners were available and accommodating. Can’t thank them enough for a wonderful UP experience!

U.P. Sunrise Cottages consists of nine quiet, cozy lakefront cottages in the heart of the Upper Peninsula, on spring-fed Farmer Lake in Little Lake, Michigan.

Many of our guests make day trips to places including Marquette and Pictured Rocks in Munising, while others spend their entire vacation relaxing at our waterfront.
